How it's built

Principles that
survive scrutiny.

Verification is only worth anything if the system can't be quietly bent. These are the rules Xworks is built on — not features, constraints.

Append-only
Records are added, never overwritten. Every change is a new, timestamped entry — the history can't be rewritten.
Fail-closed
When evidence is missing or inconsistent, the system stops. It never silently passes a claim it can't substantiate.
Independent validation
Xworks structures the evidence; an independent, accredited validator decides what passes. You can't grade your own claims.
AI for ingestion only
AI reads and structures incoming documents. It never scores, approves, or decides — judgement stays with the system's rules and the validator.
Deterministic
The same evidence always produces the same result. No black-box judgement calls, no manual overrides on the record.
Traceable to source
Every figure in a record links back to the exact document it came from. Nothing is asserted that can't be traced.
